Alliances - Sysmex

Sysmex Corporation is an integrated manufacturer of diagnostic systems and is involved in the development, production, marketing and servicing of clinical laboratory testing devices, reagents and software in the fields of urinalysis, hematology, hemostasis, immunochemistry, information systems and industrial particle analysis. Sysmex has its own global network of marketing, production and research and development facilities at 20 sites in 12 countries.

In 1998 the two companies formed a strategic alliance that encompasses distribution agreements and allows for collaborations and co-operation in the field of particle characterization.

Malvern Instruments and Sysmex Corporation have reciprocal distribution arrangements. This allows Malvern Instruments exclusive rights to distribute particle size analyzers from Sysmex' Scientific Instruments Division in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Sysmex is the exclusive distributor in Japan for Malvern's laboratory based particle size analyzers.
