Pressure Transducers

Additional pressure transducers may be required to provide sensitivity of measurement over differing shear rates, die sizes and viscosities. Malvern offer two different types of pressure transducers:

• Standard temperatures to 400ºC for use with polymers, composites, chocolate etc.
• High-temperature to 500ºC for use with high-temperature engineering plastics etc.

Each pressure transducer is fitted into special adaptors to ensure that alignment is optimized. Transducer removal and insertion is fast and simple.
